A rain cover looks like a simple thing until you watch one fail. The two places it goes wrong are always the same: water finds the stitch holes, and wind lifts the whole thing off the bike overnight. This one is built against both. The seams are heat-pressed rather than sewn, so the PVC is fused into a single sheet with no needle holes to leak through, and the hem is elasticated all the way round so it grips the frame instead of flapping.

The film itself was submitted to Xinshun Testing, a CMA-accredited laboratory, and came back at 277.3 kPa of anti-seepage pressure against a national pass line of 20 kPa. Thirteen measured items, thirteen passes: tensile load, tear load, peel strength, colour fastness, abrasion, flex and ageing among them. The report number is printed on the quality page so a buyer can ask for the original and check it.

Three sizes cover most of what is parked on a street in the monsoon belt: 3XL for small e-bikes up to 1.8 m, 4XL to 2.1 m for mid-size scooters, 5XL to 2.2 m for the larger machines that carry a top box. The frosted finish is a sun measure rather than a styling one: it diffuses direct light off the saddle and plastics, and it hides road dust between washes. Each cover folds into its own pouch.

Which size do I order for my customers’ bikes?

Measure the bike front to back. 3XL covers frames up to 1.8 m: most small e-bikes. 4XL goes to 2.1 m, which fits mid-size scooters. 5XL goes to 2.2 m and is the one to pick for large scooters carrying a top box. When a market is mixed, distributors usually stock 4XL heaviest.

Does the frosted finish do anything, or is it just a look?

It is a sun measure, not a styling choice. A plain clear sheet lets full sunlight onto the saddle and plastics underneath; the frosted layer diffuses it. It also hides dust between washes, which matters when a cover sits on a bike parked outdoors all week.

Can we get the floral print under our own brand?

Yes. The print is rotogravure-printed on the film before the cover is welded, so your artwork, colourway and hem colour are all production settings rather than after-the-fact stickers. Packaging, hang tags and the pouch can carry your branding too. Send your target market and quantity and we will come back with the real MOQ for that specification.
